Black Bears Roll to 9-2 Win Over Wolverines
Fraser Valley starter Fred Naylor pitched effectively against the Wichita Wolverines at The Stetson Bowl. The right-hander led his team to a 9-2 win. The Black Bears bumped their record to 64-48 with this latest triumph.

Milt Mezzanotte, who leads the FFL in bases on balls with 96, helped out the Fraser Valley cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a bases-clearing double. For the game, the catcher went 1-2 with a double and 3 walks. He drove in 3 runs.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Naylor.
