The Spokane Bulldogs defeated the Carson City Mustang, 4-3, in Bob Moose League action at The Kennel, with Spokane pitcher Gareth King named player of the game. Tokuhei Yano notched his 13th save in 17 chances. The Bulldogs have now won 6 straight.
Mike Pope hit a 2-run double off Graeme Priday in the bottom of the third, which put the Bulldogs in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Pope had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said King.
