Cincinnati played host to Long Island at the friendly confines of The Studio.

Cincinnati Snaps starter Diego Castro was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Long Island Ducks, 3-2. With the win over Long Island, the Snaps improved to 41-67.

Ken Simpson aided the Cincinnati cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the designated hitter went 1-3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Snaps manager António Álvarez. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
