The Spartans bumped their record to 59-50 with this latest triumph.

Peter Southern had a chance to do some damage in the top of the sixth. With San Antonio trailing 5-2, San Antonio had runners on 1st and 3rd. Southern hit a run-scoring single. But it was not enough for San Antonio to finish the comeback.
