Buzzard's Bay right-hander Robert Escobedo pitched his team to a shutout win, 2-0, over the Youngstown Tune-Ups. Ji-hwan Yea earned his 23rd save in 25 chances. The Beetlecats bumped their record to 57-53 with this latest triumph.
Escobedo, who was born in Tlalnepantla, Mexico, threw 107 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no earned runs.
