Spokane got a strong outing from António Días as the Bulldogs defeated the Madison Beehive, 5-2, at The Kennel. Tokuhei Yano was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 11 of 15 save opportunities. The Bulldogs bumped their record to 55-52 with this latest triumph.

Vicente Gonzáles had a big run-scoring single for the Bulldogs in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Spokane leading 3-2 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Nick Copeland and stroked the single to left-center. It was his 55th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bulldogs ahead, 4-2.

"António's tempo and rhythm were good," said Bulldogs manager Chris Carpenter. "He was the key to us winning."
