The DeKalb Cornhuskers and Wichita Wolverines completed their game despite the inclement weather.

The DeKalb Cornhuskers topped the Wichita Wolverines, 6-3, in Bob Moose League action at The Corn Crib. The player of the game was DeKalb pitcher Victor Hernandez. The Cornhuskers bumped their record to 55-52 with this latest triumph.

Mike Burge put DeKalb in front, 3-1, when he took Joe Kearns downtown. His solo home run came with two out in the bottom of the fifth. It was his 7th home run of the season.

Burge called the triumph "a good team win."
