Basque Block Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats and the Boise Hawks.

The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats faced a tough opponent in Boise pitcher Sung-moon Lee, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Basque Block Field by a final score of 3-2. Lee went 7 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The winner was Buzzard's Bay reliever Jesús Tobías, now 5-2. The loser was Philippe Vincent. Ji-hwan Yea earned his 22nd save in 24 chances.

The Beetlecats got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Ángel Aquino. For the game, Aquino was 1 for 1 with a double. In the top of the eighth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave Buzzard's Bay a 3-2 lead.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Aquino said after the game.

The Beetlecats bumped their record to 55-52 with this latest triumph.
