Frisco shortstop Jiro Takahashi had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Newark Jail Birds, 4-0. Mark Edwards, credited with the save, is now 3 for 6 in save opportunities. The Rams bumped their record to 59-47 with this latest triumph.

Frisco took a 4-0 lead on Takahashi's 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Fabio de Kroon in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Frisco to the win.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Takahashi.
