The Topeka Predators got a stellar performance from pitcher Angel Chavez, who handcuffed the Fraser Valley offense en route to a 10-1 win at The Stetson Bowl. The Predators bumped their record to 56-49 with this latest triumph.

Chavez scattered 3 hits over 8 innings for the Predators. With the win, Chavez goes to 9-6 on the year with 96 strikeouts.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Chavez said.
