A 3-RBI performance from Douggie Hollands helped the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats beat the San Antonio Storm Troopers, 4-2. The win was Mike Phelan's in relief. His record improves to 9-3. Dennis Hale took the loss for San Antonio. Ji-hwan Yea notched his 21st save in 23 chances.

Hollands contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Buzzard's Bay in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 2-1, Hollands took a fastball from Dennis Hale and stroked the home run to right. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Beetlecats to leap in front, 4-2.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Hollands. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

The Beetlecats bumped their record to 53-51 with this latest triumph.
