Ong Helps Mustang Run Win Streak to 3
|
2033 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Atlantic City Enforcers.
The Carson City Mustang knocked off the Atlantic City Enforcers, 10-6, at Parliament Field. Kong Ong, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Carson City won. The third baseman was 4-5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Keith Noble converted his 11th save in 15 tries.
Ong had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the third inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Mustang went on to win.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Ong told the Carson City Today.
Carson City has 3 straight wins, Atlantic City 3 straight losses.
