Rats Topple Hellcats with Late Rally
Behind a solid performance from left fielder Harry May, the Rock River Rats defeated the Jacksonville Hellcats, 4-3. May was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs for the Rats. Rock River reliever Josh Hunt was credited with the win, to go to 4-2. Bruce Berardi took the loss for Jacksonville. Hima Chinnappan got the save, his 11th in 13 chances.

May had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-0 sinker from Bruce Berardi, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Rats a 4-3 lead. It was the 15th home run of the year for May.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said May. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."

Rock River improves to 60-41 with the win. They lead their division by 5 games.
