Storm Troopers Win at Buzzard's Bay, 5-2
|
The San Antonio Storm Troopers got a good effort from starter Douggie Gimson in defeating the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats at Bloomfield Road. The final score was 5-2. The Storm Troopers bumped their record to 56-47 with this latest triumph.
Santiago López aided the San Antonio cause with a 2-run double in the top of the fourth. For the game, the catcher went 2-4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said López.
