The Spokane Bulldogs topped the Boise Hawks, 7-3, with youngster Matt Tullos playing a key role. Tullos hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Bulldogs in the win. Gareth King got the win, improving to 6-4. He held the Hawks to 2 earned runs on 5 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 4. The Bulldogs bumped their record to 52-49 with this latest triumph.

Tullos had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the top of the sixth inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Bulldogs went on to win.
