Big Day by Martínez Ignites Mustang Win
Getting a good performance from third baseman Héctor Martínez, the Carson City Mustang defeated the Atlantic City Enforcers, 8-4. Martínez went 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Mustang. Graeme Priday got the win, improving to 5-3. He worked 7 innings, giving up 4 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. The Mustang improved to 50-49.

Martínez had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the second inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Mustang went on to win.
