The DeKalb Cornhuskers defeated the Silicon Valley Hackers, 5-3. Earning player of the game honors was first baseman Mark Kachmar, who went 4-4 with 3 doubles. John Now got the save, his 5th in 7 chances. The Cornhuskers bumped their record to 52-48 with this latest triumph.
