Enforcers Win at Wichita, 6-5
|
Atlantic City right fielder Ken Jurney played a vital role in his team's 6-5 triumph over Wichita. He was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Atlantic City. The Enforcers now have a record of 39-60.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the fifth, with Atlantic City trailing 3-2, Dusty Hicks was at the plate when Atlantic City scored 2 on an error. The miscue enabled the Enforcers to go in front, 4-3.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Wichita manager Dave Moran. "The effort was great."
