Tune-Ups Fall to Burge, Cornhuskers
DeKalb shortstop Mike Burge had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Youngstown Tune-Ups, 19-8. The winner was DeKalb reliever Bill Neville, now 1-1. The loser was Greg O'Dell. The Cornhuskers bumped their record to 51-47 with this latest triumph.

Andy Wuensche aided the DeKalb cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 3 with 3 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 2.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Wuensche told the DeKalb Today.
