The Atlantic City Enforcers got a stellar performance from pitcher Tony Alfonso, who handcuffed the Wichita offense en route to a 5-2 win at Howling Park. The last-place Enforcers now have a win-loss record of 38-60.

Atlantic City needed the clutch hitting of Alejandro Hernández to notch the win. The designated hitter hammered a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Enforcers on top, 3-2. For the game, Hernández had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I know we have our doubters," said Wichita manager Dave Moran. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
