Tornadoes Rally to Eke Out Win
The Kansas City Tornadoes topped the Mile High Mustangs, 4-3, in Thurman Munson League action at McNichols Stadium. The player of the game was Kansas City designated hitter Oliver North. Picking up the save was Munemori Abe, his 10th. Even with the win, the Tornadoes have a dismal 15-29 record.

Marcos Tovar made it 4-3 in favor of Kansas City when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with two out in the top of the tenth. The Tornadoes went on to win.

"Enjoyed this one," North told the Kansas City Herald. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
