Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Bulldogs
The Spokane Bulldogs dealt the Pacifica Shamrocks a 10-9 loss at The Kennel. Raúl Cortéz was the star on offense. He was 2-5 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winner was Spokane reliever Eichiro Tanaka, now 3-1. The loser was Royce Leveque. The Bulldogs bumped their record to 51-47 with this latest triumph.

The Bulldogs got a big at-bat from third baseman Dale Hapgood. For the game, Hapgood was 3 for 6 with 3 singles and a walk. In the bottom of the 12th, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 27th hit of the season gave Spokane a 10-9 lead.
