Newark designated hitter Anson Aubry had a good game, even if his team did not. The Jail Birds dropped a 6-4 decision to Atlantic City at Cobras Ballpark. Aubry was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Reliever Vincente Herrera picked up the win. His record improves to 9-4. Ron Ogden took the loss. The Enforcers, at 37-59, sit in last place in the Cory Lidle League Gene Mauch Division.

Matt Miller, who is tied for 7th in the ACL with a .922 OPS, aided the Atlantic City cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth. For the game, the left fielder was 1 for 5.
