Bulldogs Lose, 4-1, at The Corn Crib
It was a fun time at The Corn Crib, where the Spokane Bulldogs and DeKalb Cornhuskers tangled.

The DeKalb Cornhuskers got a good effort from starter Masuhiro Miyazaki in defeating the Spokane Bulldogs at The Corn Crib. The final score was 4-1. Miyazaki went 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 0, and struck out 8. His record improves to 1-9. John Now was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 4 of 5 save opportunities.

The Cornhuskers got a big at-bat from left fielder Andy Wuensche. For the game, Wuensche was 1 for 3. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 16th hit of the season gave DeKalb a 1-0 lead.

"We put together a nice win," Wuensche said.

With the win, DeKalb goes to 49-46, while the Bulldogs fall to 50-45.
