|
The Topeka Predators knocked off the Madison Beehive, 13-4, at The Field at Richmond. Darrell Prince was named player of the game for Topeka. He produced 1 single and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Angel Chavez, the winner, improved to 8-5. He held the Beehive to 4 earned runs on 4 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 4. The Predators bumped their record to 52-45 with this latest triumph.
Prince had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a 2-run double. The Predators went on to win.
