UFO Field was the site for Cory Lidle League action featuring the Phoenix Lights and Marysville Monarchs.

The Marysville Monarchs topped the Phoenix Lights, 9-0, with designated hitter George Cromsie playing a big role. Cromsie went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Monarchs in the win. Reliever Walker Baldwin picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. Juan Montés took the loss. Ryan Le Carré earned his 2nd save in 4 chances.

Cromsie had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the seventh inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Monarchs went on to win.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Phoenix manager George Alexander Lewis.

The win puts the Monarchs at 44-48, while the Lights drop to 43-48.
