The Topeka Predators topped the Madison Beehive, 7-4, in Bob Moose League action at The Field at Richmond. The player of the game was Topeka second baseman Dave Fennelly. Topeka starter Andrés Hernández was credited with the win after throwing 109 pitches over 7 innings. His record now stands at 11-9. The Predators bumped their record to 51-45 with this latest triumph.

The Predators got a big at-bat from catcher Aaron Mitchem. For the game, Mitchem was 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 8th double of the season gave Topeka a 5-4 lead.
