Hellcats Fall Short, 5-4, at Frisco
|
The Frisco Rams beat the Jacksonville Hellcats, 5-4 at Outlander Park, in part due to first baseman Toshio Matsuzaki, who nabbed player of the game honors. He was 1-1 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The Hellcats, now 32-62, have lost 5 straight.
Frisco shortstop Jiro Takahashi contributed to the cause with a double in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Takahashi did the little things right to help the team.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Matsuzaki said.
