Ottinger Lifts Ducks to 13-7 Win
A 3-RBI performance from shortstop Bill Ottinger, who is tied for 6th in the FFL in runs scored with 66, led the Long Island Ducks to a 13-7 win over the Sandy Springs Spartans. David Tankersley got the save, his 2nd in 2 chances. At 43-48, the Ducks find themselves in last place in the Bob Moose League Bruce Bochy Division.

Ottinger had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 2-1 changeup from Drew Coffin, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Ducks a 7-5 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Ottinger.

"We played hard and won," said Ottinger. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
