Monarchs Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Shamrocks
With left fielder Tim Beeman leading the charge, the Marysville Monarchs defeated the Pacifica Shamrocks, 6-5, at Mitts Fieldhouse. Beeman, who is tied for 3rd in the ACL in RBI with 63, was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Marysville goes to 41-47, Pacifica to 65-24.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Marysville right fielder Augustin Connors, facing Danny Posada, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Monarchs the 6-5 win.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Connors said.
