The Seattle Sasquatch got a stellar performance from pitcher Garth Daniels, who handcuffed the San Diego offense en route to a 5-2 win at The Brew Stade. Gabresilassie Cherono earned save number 11. Seattle is now 18-27, San Diego 16-26.

Early in the game, catcher Kelly Carpenter had a run-scoring double for Seattle. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Sasquatch on top, 1-0.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Daniels.
