Grays Come Back Late, Nip Mustangs
|
The Georgia Grays handed the Mile High Mustangs a loss at The Death Star. The final score was 7-6. Mike Ramos was named player of the game for Georgia. In addition to his 2 singles and 1 home run, he scored 2 runs and drove in 1. He also added 1 walk. Georgia's record now stands at 16-28, placing them 5th in the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division.
Masamune Tanaka was the walk-off hero for Georgia. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Grays catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Tanaka said.
