Valle Shines in Bulldogs Win
Bulldogs right fielder Rey Valle put his stamp on his team's 14-4 win over the Sandy Springs Spartans. Valle went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 5 for Spokane in the contest. The Bulldogs bumped their record to 48-37 with this latest triumph.

Valle had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the eighth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Bulldogs went on to win.

"We came out aggressive," said Bulldogs manager Chris Carpenter. "We came out swinging the bats."
