Losing Streak Continues for Beehive with 7-2 Loss to Mustang
|
Carson City starter Raúl Lugo had a strong outing against the Madison Beehive at Cowboys Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 7-2 win. The losses continue to add up for Madison, which has now fallen 11 times in a row.
The Mustang got a big at-bat from center fielder Mike Brockett. For the game, Brockett went 2-4 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 65th hit of the season gave Carson City a 3-2 lead.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Brockett said after the game.
