Enforcers Clip Monarchs in Tight Contest

Atlantic City designated hitter Alejandro Hernández was a significant contributor in his team's 5-2 triumph over the Marysville Monarchs. He was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for Atlantic City. Atlantic City reliever Doug Durham was the winner. His record is now 3-6. Barry Sherman took the loss. The Enforcers improve their record to 33-49 with the win over Marysville.
Hernández had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a first pitch fastball from Barry Sherman, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Enforcers a 5-2 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Hernández.
In postgame comments to the Atlantic City Today, Hernández said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
