Streaking Shamrocks Win Another One
|
The Madison Beehive got a superb performance from first baseman Ji-hoon Park, but the Pacifica Shamrocks still won the game, 6-5. Park was named the player of the game despite the loss. He was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Pacifica reliever Royce Leveque picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-2. Bob Campos was collared with the loss. The Shamrocks have now won 6 straight.
John Pinnock, who is tied for 7th in the ACL in bases on balls with 51, aided the Pacifica cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman drew 2 walks.
"We found a way to get it done," Pinnock said.
