The Frisco Rams picked up a win at The Rat Hole, knocking off the Rock River Rats, 6-2. Starting pitcher Barrett Lamb, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Lamb went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 2. His record improves to 3-0. Frisco's record now stands at 44-37, placing them third in the Cory Lidle League Lou Piniella League.

In the top of the fifth inning, center fielder Pablo Moreno came through big-time for the Rams. With Frisco leading 4-2, he belted a 2-run home run.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Lamb told the Frisco Today.
