The Sandy Springs Spartans stopped the Silicon Valley Hackers, 12-4, at The Coliseum. The Spartans got a big game from Justin Duncan, who went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 6. The Spartans bumped their record to 43-37 with this latest triumph.
Duncan had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Spartans went on to win.
Duncan told a Sandy Springs News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
