The Pacifica Shamrocks got a good effort from starter Frank Hillier in defeating the Madison Beehive at The Hive. The final score was 8-1. The Beehive, now 26-54, have lost 8 in a row.

The Shamrocks got a big at-bat from left fielder Yasusaburo Sato. For the game, Sato went 2-5 with 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs. In the top of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave Pacifica a 3-1 lead.

Sato told a Pacifica News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
