The Riverside Red Bulls reigned over the Spokane Bulldogs in damp conditions at The Kennel.

The Riverside Red Bulls bested the Spokane Bulldogs by a score of 9-5, with second baseman Mário Arnada getting the main credit. On the day, Arnada hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Red Bulls. Riverside reliever Toshikasu Yoshida picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Norberto Bianchi shouldered the loss.

It could have been a different outcome for Riverside, had it not been for Larry Jeffries, the 25-year old first baseman . Jeffries contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Riverside up, 7-5.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Arnada.

Riverside is now 43-36.
