Earthquakes Solve Toreros, 5-2
|
San Francisco Earthquakes starter Donkal Ubriani turned in an exceptional performance against the Cabo San Lucas Toreros at Golden Gate Park, resulting in a San Francisco win, 5-2. The win was credited to Si-hun Park in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Joey Steamer took the loss. San Francisco is now 17-24.
Takejiro Nakamura had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the seventh for the Earthquakes. Coming up with runners on 1st and 2nd and San Francisco trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run double.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Nakamura said.
