Yamasaki Hits 2 home runs in Marauders Win
Motonobu Yamasaki made an impact in the 4-2 Maple win over South Carolina. Yamasaki, who is tied for 3rd in the TML in runs scored with 32, was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Will Caron was the winning pitcher. Over 8 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 8 hits, with no walks and 3 strikeouts. Marcos León sewed up the save, his 11th.

Yamasaki had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-2 fastball from Ángel Ruíz, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Marauders a 4-2 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Yamasaki.

"Feels good to get the job done," Yamasaki said after the game.
