Cornhuskers Bang Out 8-4 Win Versus Cincinnati
|
DeKalb right-hander Victor Hernandez made an effective start against the Cincinnati Snaps at The Studio, leading his team to a 8-4 win. Hernandez picked up the win for DeKalb, going 5 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. The Cornhuskers bumped their record to 43-31 with this latest triumph.
The Cornhuskers got a big at-bat from first baseman Luis Elías. For the game, Elías was 2 for 5 with 2 singles. In the top of the first, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 47th hit of the season gave DeKalb a 1-0 lead.
