Behind a solid performance from second baseman Oscar Smith, the San Antonio Storm Troopers defeated the Spokane Bulldogs, 4-3. Smith was 4 for 6 with 4 singles. He scored 2 runs for the Storm Troopers. San Antonio reliever Felipe Pérez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Tokuhei Yano shouldered the loss. Evan Blandford converted his 2nd save in 3 tries.

Kian Viccars had a nice at-bat for the Storm Troopers with no one out in the top of the 12th. With runners on 1st and 2nd, the right fielder grounded out, which would prove important in the San Antonio win.

"We did a lot of things right," said Smith.
