Hollands Hits 2 home runs in Beetlecats Win
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Douggie Hollands, the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats defeated the Boise Hawks, 10-2. Hollands hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Beetlecats. Buzzard's Bay reliever Robert Escobedo picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Sean Nichols absorbed the loss. The Beetlecats raised their record to 39-37.

José Guzmán drove in one run for Buzzard's Bay. The 26-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Sean Nichols. It was his 7th RBI of the season.

In postgame comments to the Buzzard's Bay Bulletin, Hollands said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
