The Sandy Springs Spartans dealt the Madison Beehive a 8-5 loss at The Coliseum. Kieran Alexander was the star on offense. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Sandy Springs reliever Jae-bok Han picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Duane Fraser was saddled with the loss. The Spartans bumped their record to 38-35 with this latest triumph.

Alexander had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 1-1 cutter from Duane Fraser, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Spartans a 8-5 lead. It was the 27th home run of the year for Alexander.

"This place was rockin'," Alexander said.
