Victory Pushes Storm Troopers Record to 38-35
|
The San Antonio Storm Troopers beat the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 8-6, at The Clone Army. San Antonio third baseman Jesse Sutton earned player of the game honors. He collected 1 single and 1 double, while driving in 3 runs. The winner was Jesús Espinosa in relief. His record improves to 7-4. Brad Bell took the loss. San Antonio is now 38-35. DeKalb is 41-30.
Jorge García hit a bases-clearing double off Brad Bell in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Storm Troopers in front, 8-6. In addition to the double, García had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
