The Bloomington Blazers defeated the Vancouver Pioneers, 15-3. Earning player of the game honors was shortstop Fernando Franco, who hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Landy Lu, the winner, improved to 5-3. He held the Pioneers to 1 earned run on 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 1. The Blazers have an impressive 26-14 record.
