Jing hits 2 home runs, Shamrocks Move to 89-43
|
The Pacifica Shamrocks topped the Boise Hawks by the score of 6-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Yeow-whye Jing. Jing belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Shamrocks on the day. Jose Artola earned the win for Pacifica. He lasted 5.1 innings, allowing 3 earned runs on 6 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 1-0. Pacifica has an impressive 89-43 record.
Dave Bayliss aided the Pacifica cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Bayliss told the Pacifica News.
