Beavers Roll to 8-3 Win Over Rhinos
|
The Portland Beavers reigned over the Rubber City Rhinos in damp conditions at Waterfront Park.
Portland Beavers starter Felipe De La Hoya was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Rubber City Rhinos, 8-3. Manuel Martínez nailed down his 1st save.
Vihaan Vedant, who is tied for 8th in the RCL in triples with 2, chipped in for Portland with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"Today was a lot of fun," said Vedant.
With the victory, the Beavers record now stands at 18-23.
